MYSTERIOUS PAST

In this work, I am drawn to the tension between historical architectural richness and the simplicity of the digital world we now inhabit. The ornaments and gold, wooden pieces and are combined with prints made by black ink. My work intends to explore the collision between these two states: the excess of the handcrafted past and the minimalism of the digital present. I am interested in what happens when ornament meets absence, when material memory meets pixel logic, when permanence confronts impermanence. Through this dialog, I search for newer visual language- one where richness is ot only found in detail, but also in silence; where simplicity is not emptiness, but space for reflection. I see this tension not as opposition, but as evolution; a shift in how beauty is constructed, perceived, and experienced. Ultimately, my work asks whether the digital world can develop its own form of Baroque richness- not through physical ornament, but through layered perception, emotional density, and immersive presence. This painting is still in the Baroque style but tools and mediums are modern.... Acrylic, textured with modeling paste, ink, sculptured rose in an air drying clay. Framed.
