This piece of art holds the memory of my daughter's brief but intense journey into bull riding-a curiosity and interest in this sport she pursued for a year and a half. To me, bull riding represents one of the most dangerous sports imaginable, demanding courage, resilience, and a willingness to face fear head-on. Watching her step into that world was both terrifying and awe-inspiring. This art work reflects the tension between a parent's fear and admiration: the instinct to protect, alongside the recognition a child's determination to test her own limits. Through her time in the sport was short lived, the experience left a lasting mark for both of us, a reminder of youth, bravery, and the fleeting moments that shape who we become. Acrylic, textured with modeling paste, glitter; a collage type of art -including my drawings, paper pieces glued to main canvas, smaller canvas glued into a larger canvas.
