In this work, Atlantis is not a fixed place or historical certainty, but a symbol of the past that is hidden yet vagualy known. it exists between memory and imagination- a civilization never fully discovered, always partially revealed. Mystery is not resolved, but inhabited- as a continueous presence beneath understanding. Acrylic painting, heavy textured with modeling paste, pieces of thick crepe paper, rhinestones.
