FALLING ANGELS, 2021
2021
$3500
Palette
There is so much darkness and dirt in the world that even the pure can become stained by it. Sometimes innocent does not fall because it is weak, but because it exists too long within corruption, pain, temptation, or cruelty. Life leaves marks on everyone. The struggle to remain pure in a wounded world is one of the oldest human conflicts- the tension between light and survival, innocence and experience. Yet falling does not always mean destruction. Sometimes it reveals how fragile goodness truly is, how fificult is to protect what is soft, honest, and sacred within ourselves. The tragedy is not that angels fall, but that the world so often forgets how to protect them. Acrylic, textured with modeling paste, fabric. Finger painting
